Prepared meals delivered to a
person’s home for individuals who are unable to prepare or obtain
nourishing meals on their own. Home-delivered meal programs provide one or two
meals a day and can be obtained anywhere from one to seven days per week
depending on the program. These programs can be private or federally funded and
costs vary from program to program.
